Resolved Question: Purchasing HDTV - what brand do you prefer?

Monday, May 19th, 2008

We are seriously shopping for a HDTV. We know the technical stuff and approximatly what size we want, but what we would like from you is personal experiance with certain brands.

We definatly are getting a 1080p, probaby between 40-47″ (depending on price.) Would like to have optical output. Not sure about plasma vs LCD yet (again, depends on price.)

What would you recommend with above info around $1500?

I really like the Plasma t.v. but I have been reading all over how people get burn-ins and crap like that with them.
The LCD t.v. is also nice but a little small for me
Which t.v. do you guys think will give me the most support and best gaming from my PS3

Resolved Question: Please help me with this?

Monday, May 19th, 2008

I’m thinking of getting a new telly.
I want a flat t.v but don’t know which one of these i should get.Either a LCD or plasma. People are tellin me different things.
They say..

Plasma: Cant lay flat + breaks eaiser < bad points
easier to clean, runs pictures faster ( for sports and fast films ). < good points

LCD: Harder to clean < bad
Crystal picture, more pixels + can lay down.

Which do you think is better, not just from what i’v said up there, but either from experiance, own one etc.
Thanks.

Resolved Question: What kind of tv should I get?

Monday, May 19th, 2008

I am looking for a tv for my new room. I am interested in a projector and screen, but I don’t know anything about them, or if they are the quality I am looking for. I am sure that in the future they will the in thing but right now I am looking at 50” and up flat pannel tvs. I would really prefer nothing over 60” because that would look crazy in in my room. Any suggestions on quality, price, and brands would be great! Any experiences would also help, such as wall mounted vs stand, lcd vs plasma, etc..
